Social Programme

From Cape Town there are endless possibilities to explore the tourist side of South Africa The Cape Peninsula is one of the five floral kingdoms of the world and offers striking national parks and the beautiful Table Mountain tableau with its numerous hiking trails. From the city centre it is one hour to the Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic meets the Indian Ocean. Cape Town as a city offers a range of first class cultural activities, an exciting nightlife, and excellent restaurants and bars of all types.

The city’s beaches rank among the most beautiful of the world and offer any type of water sport activity, as well as sunset cruises, shark diving, etc. Cape Town is surrounded by the wine-making industry with its elegant vineyards and old Cape-Dutch architecture straddling the Hottentots Holland mountain range. Tours to game parks, such as the famous Kruger National Park, or to other tourist destinations in South Africa and neighbouring countries can easily be organised from here.

A local travel agent has been appointed to assist conference participants and their guests with the planning and booking of tours, flights, car rentals, and day trips. For more details please visit https://icccbe.org/tours
